Eranas – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) responded to criticism from a number of parties who stated that many of our State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) had fallen out, or even tended to go bankrupt.

The President requested that the parties that mentioned a number of BUMNs fall out could show the data. “If we talk about the important one, use data, speak it using data,” said President Jokowi answering reporters after attending the launch of the ASN and Pensioners Entrepreneurial Program; Prosperous in Purnatugas, at Sentul International Convention Center, Sentul, Bogor, West Java, Wednesday (1/16) afternoon.

The President also asked the parties including the public not to be pessimistic about something. “Don’t be pessimistic. If there are any that are not good, yes, many are not good. But we have to be optimistic, we fix it, we fix it. That’s our job, “said the President.

Furthermore, regarding SOEs which are called by a number of disadvantaged parties, President Jokowi advised reporters to ask them directly to the Minister of BUMN. (setkab)
